Country Estates Lakeland II PVC Fence

Definitions
:

1. Fence Line – a section of fence with no gates.
2. Line Post – routed on opposite sides for connecting (2) fence panels in a straight line.
3. End Post – routed on just one side. It is used at the beginning and end of the fence with (1) panel attached.
4. Blank Post – a Free-Standing post with no routing of the post. These posts can be used for Gate installation or just as a free-standing post. For Gate installation this would be a post that is next to a “structure” where no fence line exists. It is RECOMMENDED to use it as a latch post. It is NOT RECOMMENDED to hinge the gate from these posts as gate sag is more likely to occur.
5. Corner Post – routed on (2) adjacent sides to have (2) panels attach to them forming a corner.
6. Gate End Post – routed on just one side with (1) panel attached to them. These posts can be used as either a hinge or latch post. It is RECOMMENDED to use a Stiffener on your hinge post to add increased support and reinforcement.

Procedure
:

1. Draw proposed fence.
2. Identify end posts, corner posts, and gate locations.
3. Measure fence lines and gate locations.
4. Add up your fence line measurements and divide them by 8. This is the number of panels you will need.
5. Subtract the number of fence lines you need from the number of panels needed. This is how many line posts are needed.
6. Add the number of other posts, gates and gate posts needed.
7. Each gate requires one set of hinges, one handle, and one latch. Add those as-needed.
8. If you need a double gate, add two 3ft, two 3.5ft, two 4ft or two 5ft gates to the cart, along with 2 hinges, 2 handles, 1 latch & 1 drop rod.
9. Combine the number of line posts, end posts, blank posts, corner posts and gate posts. Add that number of post caps.
10. Add a stiffener for each gate post you need. (optional but recommended to keep the post from leaning)
