When properly installed, chain link fence doesn’t require much maintenance. Thanks to galvanized, aluminized, or vinyl coating, this fencing style won’t rust or gather dirt. With the benefit of visibility through the chain link, this type of metal fence is incredibly tough because it’s made from interlocking coated steel wire. The strong steel of a chain link fence can create a secure barrier. Additional hardware, such as gate latches and barbed wire, can be added to increase security.
